Keeping An Eye Out

Conversations with my nearly four-year old son are specific, energetic, and almost always humorous. This afternoon, I was keeping an eye on the kids while the rode their tricycles on this beautiful, winter day. My son rides up to me and asks:

Him: Mommy, are you keeping an eye on us?
Me: Of course I am!
Him: Then cover up your other eye!

At that moment, my two and a half year old daughter chimes in, "keeping an eye...keeping an eye..."

Honestly, never a dull moment.
